A sophisticated structure wrapped in traditional symbolism.
Located at the edge of the Jian Xi Gan Dong River, this entertainment complex delivers a sophisticated and inspiring impression.
Architecture
Water is symbolically important in Chinese architecture. The building features eight bays derived from the golden mean and a roof form that combines the rhythm of the bays with water. A bridge takes visitors to a viewing platform at the edge of the river.
A visual connection can be made between the grouped dancing peaks of traditional Chinese roof structures and those of windblown water. The skin of the building evokes the scales of a dragon, an important figure in Chinese mythology.
