Sina was born and raised in Shiraz, which certainly
sounds
classier than being born and raised in VB or Toohey’s
New.
Of course, Sina is referring to the city of Shiraz, the
cultural capital of Iran, where he was somewhat of a
sporting prodigy. Now that Sina lives in the sporting
capital of Australia, we think he’ll feel right at home.
Justin Caddeo
Creative Director
Justin once wanted to be an F1 driver. That didn’t
eventuate, but since then he has created an impressive
body of work; much of it, to be fair, thanks to countless
hours in the gym. A fear of skydiving hasn’t held back
Juzzie’s dream to be an Olympic diver, but little slows
him down when there’s a chance to take off his top.
Joe Cornetta
Director
Joe’s favourite city is New York, he speaks fluent Italian
and his father-in-law was a tailor to Hollywood leading
men Gregory Peck, Tony Curtis and Burt Lancaster.
But that’s about as civilised as Joe gets, with weekends
finding him cheering on Collingwood with all the class
of an angry criminal.
Fady Hachem
Principal Director
As a dedicated martini lover and Aston Martin driver,
Fady is certain it’s only the lack of a full head of hair
that holds him back from being the next James Bond.
Fady has an irrational fear of retirement but if ever he
does ride off into the sunset, it’ll be to the tunes of
Whitney Houston.

Emil Peric
Associate
In a past life, Emil played drums in a heavy rock band
so it’s little wonder the skill he most wishes he had is to
play guitar. Emil is semi-fluent in Croatian with a talent
for impersonations, but it’s not known if he has ever
combined the two. Hit maker Gotye was somebody that
he used to know.
Donna Fletcher
Associate
While other kids were riding BMX bikes and playing Donkey
Kong, Donna was being dragged around display homes by her
real estate agent father, leading to her early
appreciation
of interior design. Donna has a deep devotion to pop star
Prince and can’t promise that her design palette won’t
occasionally feature liberal splashes of purple. She also
loves a good dad joke. Hey, Donna: how do you warm up a
room
after it’s been painted? Give it another coat.
Zack Bok
Associate
A Korean-born Australian, Zack enjoys playing with his
cats,
cooking for friends and chainsawing the heck out of
overgrown gardens. It’s rumoured he changed career from
chef
to interior designer because his love of scarves and
bowties
didn’t go down too well in the kitchen. Culturally
speaking,
Zack embraces everything from Satie and Bruch to Kath and
Kim. Which is, well, noice … different … unusual.
Shaped by stories
A great story
is one that is
well told.
It will usually contain elements of drama and levity. Details, both subtle and significant, will be teased out as the narrative unfolds. As a means of gaining wisdom, sharing experiences and conveying ideas, story telling has been a central characteristic of every single race, culture and religion since the dawn of humanity.
Our stories define us. And we never cease being interested in the stories around us: those of our families, our friends, and our community. Stories are the glue that connect us.
Good brands have stories, too. Stories that help create understanding and generate belief, ultimately occupying a place in the mind of a customer. A good brand knows this, and its custodians are forever adding to its story in an effort to make it ever more compelling and relatable.
At Hachem, we hold stories — our ability to recognise, add to and tell them — as our most precious asset. It is what sets us apart from our competitors.
